The Annual CHGA Halloween Fun Fly-In

Fly and Party with us at the Seascape Motor Inn on Route 6A in North Truro, MA. For reservations phone 508-487-1225, if the Seascape becomes full call the Horizon at 508-487-0042. The Seacape is (still) for sale so next year is not certain. So come this year !

The Cape has 2 primary faces: The west or bay side is where the Motel sits on top of an 80 foot high sand ridge that runs for 2 miles. Set up and launch right in the "backyard". Pilots have thermalled up over the warmer bay waters to over 1000 feet and a few have crossed a cove to reach more ridge to the south, a very challenging task. When the winds turn northeast the opposite side of the Cape yields 14 miles of sand cliffs up to 150 feet high. Plenty of nice sandy beach to land on all the way too, with occasional road access.

Chuck, the owner, says No Top Landings Allowed & DO NOT carry assembled gliders up the stairs from the beach to re-launch.
